Profile

The CER - Consorzio Emiliano Romagnolo, an Emilia-Romagna association of production and labour cooperatives - is an Association established pursuant to Law 25 June 1909 no. 422 that operates in the building sector.

Its main purpose is to encourage participation by its member cooperatives in public and private contract work for which they meet the qualification criteria.

The CER takes on public and private contracts and entrusts their performance to member cooperatives but remains responsible towards the customer for proper execution during every phase.

The associative approach gives the system great operating and business efficiency, thanks to its wide territorial coverage and the great flexibility it can achieve through its member cooperatives, which are scattered all over the country and represent a variety of market segments.

The fact that it has the special characteristics of a "network system" makes the CER the ideal party to deal with, for both traditional customers and for customers that operate all over the country and need a single contact that handles a large number of local terminals while operating according to a single standard and a single level of reliability.

In the present situation the CER, which already has an excellent reputation in traditional sectors, can be seen as an enterprise able to meet the needs of new markets and local markets, especially when it comes to problems related to maintenance and management, public-private partnerships, energy and the environment.

The CER is a member of the Italian federation of cooperatives, Confcooperative, and is the key national association in the building sector.
